A post with a Google document linked
If you want to showcase your work, you’ll need to be able to link to it. That’s very easy if, as recommended, you’re storing your work in your Google Drive.
If you’re doing that, all you need to do is be sure the people you want to see your work have the appropriate access, then copy and past the link into your post or page.
Here, for example, is a link to a document titled “Filler Text.”
It’s also possible to do the same thing with
- a spreadsheet and
- a slide show.
The work you share need not have been created in Google’s productivity suite. Almost any kind of file file can be uploaded to Google Drive, then shared using the same method used to share native Google files.
- Here’s a Microsoft Word document.
- This one’s a PDF document.
Sample post
This is a sample post containing only text. You’ll note that it’s possible for readers to comment on this post. If you’d rather that readers not be able to comment, you can disable that function on a post-by-post basis. (The same holds true for pages.)
